The Opportunity Ulteig is currently seeking qualified candidates for a CAD Technician opening. The CAD Technician supports the Transmission & Distribution group of engineers by providing technical drafting support and creating drawings in Microstation and AutoCAD and designsin PLS-CADD under close supervision.
What You'll Do Successful candidates will complete tasks within the Transmission & Distribution department designing/drafting projects. Candidates must have strong attention to detail and work well within a team.
What We Expect from You - Two-year technical degree or currently enrolled in school for Technical Drafting, or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience
- Knowledge of AutoCAD is required
- Knowledge of Microstation is required
- Knowledge of PLS-CADD a plus, but not required
- Proven experience in Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, Access)
- Knowledge in Transmission & Distribution design and drafting would be beneficial
- Good organization and communication skills to ensure projects are completed on schedule
- Must have permanent authorization to work in US
