Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Workday Integration Developer to design, build, and maintain integrations between Workday and external enterprise systems. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Workday integration technologies such as Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and Workday APIs and will collaborate closely with HR, Finance, and IT teams to ensure seamless data exchange across systems.

This role requires a developer who understands Workday architecture, data structures, and enterprise integration patterns while ensuring secure, scalable, and reliable integrations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy Workday integrations with internal and third-party systems.
  • Build integrations using Workday Studio, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Core Connectors, and Workday Web Services.
  • Develop and maintain inbound and outbound integrations using REST/SOAP APIs.
  • Work with HRIS, Payroll, Benefits, and Finance teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Configure Workday integration security and authentication protocols.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, data errors, and system performance problems.
  • Support Workday releases and upgrades, ensuring integrations remain compatible.
  • Create and maintain integration documentation and technical specifications.
  • Collaborate with architects and system administrators to ensure integration scalability, security, and compliance.
  • Participate in integration testing, UAT support, and production deployments.
Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in Workday development or Workday integrations.
  • Strong experience with Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and Workday Web Services.
  • Experience developing integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and XML/XSLT transformations.
  • Strong knowledge of Workday HCM, Payroll, or Financial modules.
  • Experience working with middleware or integration platforms.
  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills for integration issues.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams including HRIS, Finance, and IT.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Workday Integration Certification.
  • Experience with middleware tools such as MuleSoft, Boomi, or Dell Boomi.
  • Knowledge of data transformation tools and scripting languages (Java, Groovy, or Python).
  • Experience working in Agile environments.
