Currently looking to add an Environmental Leader to our client's team.This position will oversee multiple regional locations with a team of 17 individuals under your direction. (Engineers and Technicians) In this role: You will work with and be part of the management team of 500+ full time individuals.Ensure compliance with company directives, environmental permits, and regulatory requirements.Develop, implement and manage the site's environmental programs and continuous improvement plans.Supervise, develop and evaluate environmental staff; provide performance feedback and development strategies.
Prioritize and lead project direction and execution related to all Environmental issues within all the facilities locally.Your background:
Bachelor's degree required (STEM preferred)
7+ years working in chemical operations (batch or continuous)
Have had direct reports in the past
Title V, Hazardous waste and waste water experience
Side notes: Great cost of living area and great for the outdoor enthusiasts. Very clean facilities and working areas. Client is putting capital back into these regional facilities with multi-million dollar ongoing projects currently. There is a sense of pride within the community and employees that work here.
