About the Role
Sales Manager For Electronic & Controls Solutions
We are recruiting a commercially minded and highly collaborative Sales Manager to drive growth of our Electronic & Controls (E&C) solutions across France. This role is dedicated to a specific product group and combines technical sales ownership with key account support and cross-selling responsibilities.
You will work closely with Account Executives on shared accounts—bringing deep product expertise, influencing specifications, and leading all aspects of the E&C sales strategy.
This position operates remotely in France!
Key Responsibilities Of The Role
Drive sales growth of Electronic & Controls solutions across assigned territories and accounts
Work together with Account Executives in identifying and executing cross-selling opportunities within existing compressor and system business
Provide technical sales support during customer discussions, specification work, and solution design
Build and maintain strong relationships with OEMs, contractors, wholesalers, and key end-users
Deliver product presentations, value-based selling, and customer training sessions
Support new product introductions and market launches
Monitor market trends and competitor activity related to electronic controls and digital solutions
Collaborate closely with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing teams
Maintain opportunity tracking, pipeline visibility, and forecasting in Salesforce
Required Skills And Qualifications
3–5+ years' experience in sales or technical sales within refrigeration, controls, or related industries
Strong technical knowledge of refrigeration electronics and control systems
Experience supporting OEM or key account sales teams with technical solutions
Ability to translate customer requirements into system architectures and solutions
Solid understanding of food retail and cold chain applications
Proven ability to influence technical specifications at engineering level
Fluent in English and French.
Preferred Skills And Qualifications
Experience working with or selling Electronic & Controls product portfolios
Background in both key account management and business development (cross-selling focus)
Exposure to multi-country European markets
Experience working in matrix environments with shared account ownership
Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM tools
Additional Context
Role is heavily product-focused (approx. 95% emphasis on E&C expertise)
Shared ownership of larger accounts
Combination of Key Account Management and Business Development through cross-selling
Fully responsible for driving success of the Electronic & Controls product line within the region
