Internal Control Analyst Duties

As an Internal Control Analyst, GS-0501-11, you will:

• Provide administrative oversight of the Quality Assurance (QA) Program
• Provide technical assistance and advice to the Financial Manager (FM) and staff
• Examine all areas todetermine the effectiveness of procedures
• Prepare monthly Discrepancy Tracking Report to management for review
• Conduct various reviews to assess organizational performance
• Report discrepancies to the Financial Manager for further research
• Gather data, track discrepancies, and prepare trend charts
• Maintain schedules of all reports, audits, inspections, and internal control reviews
