The Building People, LLC, has a position open for a full-time Senior Electrical Engineer - Department of Defense.The Senior Electrical Engineer represents the company with engineered products and solutions for facility control system projects.The role leads design and technical oversight for systems that include UMCS, HVAC controls and DDC, SCADA, Fire Alarm Systems, Electronic Security Systems, metering, and related life safety and force protection technologies.
Responsibilities include developing calculations, drawings, specifications, and sequences of operation; coordinating power and controls interfaces; reviewing submittals and RFIs; supporting factory and site testing, integrated system testing, and commissioning; and sealing deliverables as a Professional Engineer where required.This role supports a Department of Defense mission and partners with project managers, field teams, and authorities having jurisdiction to deliver code-compliant, reliable systems.
