About the Role

Senior Designer

Location: Hyderabad, IN

This is an office-first role. Working together in person supports close, real-time collaboration and team alignment, enabling us to deliver our best work. You will work primarily in the office, with the flexibility to work remotely for 20% of your time (one day per week).

Job Summary

This is a Bioscience-specific role responsible for implementing creative solutions and impactful designs and layout of marketing material, supporting a global marketing team that align with the marketing strategy activities of the business.Prepare designs from concept to production that include but not limited to brochures, sales sheets, slides presentations, digital ads, tradeshows displays. Uphold company branding and best practices of applying design elements.

What You Will Do
  • Responsible for coordinating project objectives and developing marketing material to align project objectives with Campaign and Product Managers. Ensuring consistent application of relevant campaign messaging, visuals, trademarks and other branding / design elements throughout all materials. Including but not limited to tradeshow material, catalog production, online banners, social posts, and PowerPoint presentations.
  • Show aptitudes toward creativity with the ability to work with and support brand guidelines
  • Provide a full understanding and capability to provide proper final output of digital and print files.
  • Support web page development with cropping image, develop icons / illustration, and interactive elements
  • Acquisition and implementation of stock images
  • Perform project archiving / file management
  • Troubleshoot projects
  • Provide support with asset management systems, working knowledge of the platform, able to perform upload of assets and maintain metadata
  • Understand technology advancement by staying up to date with trends and software updates
  • Perform other duties as assigned
What We Are Looking For
  • A strong understanding of graphic design principles, able to harmonize elements visually to convey appealing and well-structured designs that are in compliance with the company brand strategy.
  • Strong organizational skills, self-directed, driven and works independently; adaptable to changes in priorities and workload
  • Computer knowledge should include Adobe Creative Cloud Suite and Microsoft applications, including but limited to:
  • InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, Acrobat, Microsoft, Word, PowerPoint, Excel
  • Fluency in InDesign Photoshop and Illustrators
  • Knowledgeable with the development of Acrobat forms, a plus
  • Multimedia artist and or animation skills, a plus
  • Photography skills, a plus
  • Understanding of HTML, a plus
  • Understanding of integration of AI in the workflow of design
  • Knowledgeable of industry trends, willing to research and test new applications
  • Demonstrate professional written and oral communication skills
  • Magazine/catalog layout knowledge and production skills
  • Understanding of export file format options, Printing techniques, Usage of stock image, File management
  • Color theory and typography knowledge
  • Attention to details
  • Business Acumen, a plus
  • Solid understanding of the print processes, print terminology, provide accurate communication of project specs to vendor(s) for estimating and project preparation
  • Provide guidance and support to design team members.
  • Ability to work independently as well in a team environment.
  • Strong management of time within a fast-paced environment with the ability to adapt to multiple project objectives
  • Understanding of stock image licensing.
