Lesley University invites applications for adjunct faculty to teach upcoming weekend, online, and in-person classes in our Elementary Education area at the graduate level. Courses within this program prepare students for initial licensure as a teacher for Pk-6 grade, and provide future educators with the tools to effectively teach classes across Literacy, Math, Science, and Social Studies. Classes in this department are primarily taught on-campus and in-person.
Since adjunct faculty positions are ongoing, evergreen positions, your materials will remain on file and will be reviewed on an as-needed basis throughout the upcoming semesters. By submitting your application, you will be put into consideration for current and future adjunct positions within the Elementary Education area. We hire adjunct faculty on a regular cadence to support our Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters. The specific course hired for is subject to change depending on semester, course catalog, and department needs.
At Lesley, we believe education is a lifelong journey. Our Education programs span from undergraduate degrees for students embarking on a path to their first teacher's license, to established educators seeking a master's degree or additional certification, and PhD candidates who have the freedom to explore a specific topic of their choosing.
