Mindray North America is seeking a Clinical Educator to deliver high-quality clinical education, product training, and implementation support for patient monitoring solutions across acute care environments. This is a highly customer-facing, field-based role that partners closely with healthcare providers to ensure confident adoption, effective use, and long-term success with Mindray patient monitoring technology.

The Clinical Educator works independently while collaborating with sales, service, technical support, and project teams to support in-services, system implementations, follow-up education, and troubleshooting. This role requires strong clinical expertise, the ability to adapt training to diverse care settings, and comfort managing a dynamic travel schedule.

What You'll Do

  • Deliver in-services across the full patient monitoring portfolio, tailoring education to customer workflows, clinical environments, and learning needs
  • Provide hands-on clinical application training across hospital departments and care settings
  • Assess education needs across nursing units and specialties and adjust instruction accordingly

Implementation & Go-Live Support

  • Support system installations by identifying customer workflows and configuration needs
  • Provide on-site clinical support during go-live events and final implementations
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure smooth transitions from installation to active clinical use

Customer Relationship Management

  • Conduct follow-up visits and ongoing phone support to reinforce education and promote sustained product adoption
  • Maintain strong, trusted relationships with clinical staff and leadership at customer sites
  • Serve as a clinical liaison between customers and internal teams including Technical Support, Service, and Systems Solutions

On-Call & Field Support

  • Provide on-call clinical support through the technical support line following established escalation and documentation procedures (on-call rotation begins after one year in role)
  • Manage time and territory independently to meet customer education needs effectively

What We're Looking For

Education & Clinical Background

  • Registered Nurse (RN) with an active license from an accredited institution
  • BSN preferred; alternate nursing degree accepted with 5+ years of nursing experience
  • 2–3 years of active nursing experience using cardiac monitoring in acute care settings
  • Strong knowledge of advanced cardiac arrhythmias, hemodynamics, Swan-Ganz, and cardiac output monitoring
  • Experience educating other nurses through staff development, preceptorship, or formal training programs strongly preferred

Skills & Attributes

  • Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage diverse clinical audiences
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to balance multiple accounts and priorities
  • Highly independent and self-motivated, comfortable working autonomously in the field
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with clinical staff, nursing leadership, and internal teams
  • Technical aptitude to understand product specifications and translate them into practical clinical application
  • Flexible and adaptable, able to manage last-minute schedule changes in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Field-based role requiring approximately 85% travel by car or air
  • Must reside within 40 miles of a major airport
  • Ability to stand and deliver training sessions for 2–5 hours at a time, multiple times per day
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during implementations and on-site support
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment or training materials up to 25 pounds and push carts through clinical environments

Mindray North America offers a competitive compensation package and comprehensive benefits, including a 401(k) with company match, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, disability coverage, FSA/HSA options, and more—all within a dynamic, supportive, and collaborative work environment.
