About the Role

Community Manager (Contract | Remote | Approx. 10 hrs/week)
Overview
Seeking a Community Manager with 3-5 years of experience supporting social media engagement, online communities, and audience interactions. This role focuses on daily community management, content development, engagement monitoring, and relationship building across social platforms. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who can represent the brand authentically while collaborating closely with internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and respond to social media comments, mentions, and direct messages.
  • Create and publish engaging social content aligned with brand voice and guidelines.
  • Foster meaningful conversations and build relationships with online communities.
  • Track community feedback, engagement trends, and audience sentiment.
  • Identify opportunities to increase engagement and strengthen brand advocacy.
  • Escalate sensitive issues and customer concerns following established processes.
  • Maintain engagement reports, activity logs, and community insights.
  • Collaborate with internal teams through Slack and other communication tools.
  • Support community-focused campaigns, initiatives, and social programs.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in community management, social media management, digital marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong copywriting and written communication skills.
  • Experience managing and engaging online communities across social platforms.
  • Familiarity with social media management, scheduling, and monitoring tools.
  • Understanding of social media best practices and audience engagement strategies.
  • Ability to analyze community feedback and identify key trends.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Collaborative mindset and experience working cross-functionally with internal teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting brand or customer-facing communities.
  • Familiarity with social listening and community reporting tools.
  • Experience working with B2B, technology, consumer, or professional services brands.
  • Basic understanding of social analytics and performance reporting.
Pay Details: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour
