About the Role

Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to support financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and business decision-making initiatives. The Financial Analyst will work closely with accounting, operations, and leadership teams to analyze financial performance, identify trends, develop recommendations, and contribute to the organization's overall financial success.
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and variance analyses.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning activities.
  • Analyze financial results and key business metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Assist with annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes.
  • Support month-end and year-end close activities by providing financial analysis and reporting.
  • Create dashboards and management reports using Excel, Power BI, or other reporting tools.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate operational performance and improve financial outcomes.
  • Conduct ad hoc analysis to support executive decision-making and special projects.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity across financial reporting systems.
  • Assist with process improvement initiatives to enhance reporting efficiency and financial controls.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, accounting, or related finance roles.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and financial modeling.
  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms.
  • Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or other business intelligence tools preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA, CPA, CMA, or CFA designation (or progress toward certification) preferred.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing, healthcare, logistics, professional services, or corporate environments.
  • Advanced data analysis skills using SQL or Power Query are a plus.
Compensation
Columbus, Ohio Market Range: $70,000 - $95,000 base salary, depending on experience, plus potential bonus opportunities and benefits.
