Financial AnalystWestbury, NY
Our client, a corporation with national presence, is hiring for a Financial Analyst with strong financial reporting and Excel skills. Qualified candidates will have completed their Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance and have three or more years of corporate financial analysis experience. You will work closely with the VP of Finance in the preparation of financial reports and analysis for this company. This is a great opportunity to join a stable , growing corporation and gain valuable experience in FP&A. This is a permanent, full-time position offering a salary of $75,000 to $100,000 commensurate with experience.
THIS POSITION IS FULLY ONSITE, SO THEY NEED LOCAL CANDIDATES.
Responsibilities for the Financial Analyst job include: · Assist with financial reports and associated analysis
· Create and update financial reports focused on revenue and general operational metrics
· Assist in the standardization of finance processes and procedures
· Tracking inventory, reporting on variances
· Ad hoc reporting and project work to improve systems and processes
Qualifications: · Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required
· Three or more years of financial analysis experience
· Understanding of general accounting/financial statements is preferred
· Strong technical skills in Excel (Vlookups, Pivot Tables)
· Self-motivated, driven personality
