Our client is undergoing a systems integration and consolidation project and is seeking an experienced
Interim Accounting Manager to help support day-to-day accounting operations while internal team members focus on strategic initiatives. The consultant will provide hands-on accounting support and help maintain a smooth month-end close process with minimal oversight.
Responsibilities - Prepare and review journal entries
- Support month-end close activities
- Assist with general accounting operations across multiple business units
- Help maintain continuity during a period of system integrations and team transitions
- Partner with accounting leadership and staff to provide operational support where needed
- Adapt to changing priorities as workload shifts across departments
Requirements - Prior Accounting Manager experience
- Strong hands-on accounting background
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Experience with month-end close and journal entries
- NetSuite experience strongly preferred
- Oracle experience is a plus
- Accounting degree preferred but not required
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing environment
Ideal Candidate: A senior-level accounting professional who can quickly step in, own day-to-day accounting functions, support month-end close, and free up the existing team to focus on system integration and transformation initiatives
Pay Details: $55.00 to $65.00 per hour
