Accountant ILHH is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant I to join a growing organization. This position is responsible for performing account analysis, payment processing, reconciliations, and other accounting activities to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to investigate and resolve account discrepancies.
Key Responsibilities- Review, analyze, and maintain financial account activity to ensure accuracy and compliance with established procedures.
- Process, record, and reconcile incoming payments from a variety of sources.
- Monitor account balances and perform regular reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.
- Research, investigate, and resolve account discrepancies and payment-related issues.
- Provide guidance and support regarding company policies, procedures, and account-related inquiries.
- Communicate with internal departments, customers, and business partners to resolve transaction issues and account updates.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure timely completion of assigned accounting activities.
- Assist with process improvements and other accounting functions as needed.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting or financial systems.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
