Order Entry Specialist The Order Entry Specialist is responsible for accurately processing customer orders, maintaining detailed records, and ensuring timely communication with internal teams and customers. This role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This is a great opportunity located near Glendale Heights, IL.
Responsibilities: - Accurately enter and process customer orders into the order management system, ensuring all information is complete and correct.
- Review purchase orders, contracts, and related documentation for accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare order documentation for production, shipping, and internal processing.
- Communicate with customers regarding order status, estimated ship dates, changes, and discrepancies.
- Collaborate with internal departments, including sales, production, and accounting, to resolve order issues and ensure timely fulfillment.
- Maintain accurate records of customer information, pricing, and order history within internal systems.
- Generate reports, track open orders, and monitor order progress to ensure deadlines are met.
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email in a professional and timely manner.
- Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and invoicing support as needed.
Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-3 years of experience in order entry, customer service, or administrative support.
- Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Experience working with ERP or order management systems preferred.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

- 100% onsite
- Pay up to $23 an hour depending on experience
