About the Role

LHH is seeking a detail-oriented and organized HR Assistant to support day-to-day human resources operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys supporting both employees and leadership across onboarding, compliance, and administrative HR functions.
Key Responsibilities
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including new hire paperwork, background checks, and orientation coordination
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws
  • Assist with HRIS data entry (new hires, terminations, status changes)
  • Monitor timecards, PTO, and overtime approvals; follow up with employees and supervisors as needed
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and candidates
  • Track completion of training programs, onboarding checklists, and performance reviews
  • Support benefits administration and respond to employee questions
  • Maintain HR documentation and filing systems (electronic and physical)
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR team and assist with special projects
Qualifications
  • 1+ years of HR, administrative, or office support experience
  • Experience with HRIS systems (Paylocity or similar preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Preferred
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
  • Experience in a manufacturing or fast-paced environment
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
Pay/Benefits:
  • Pay: $22/hr - $25/hr
  • Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits, and 401K plan. Our program provides employees the flexibility to choose the type of coverage that meets their individual needs. Available paid leave may include Paid Sick Leave, where required by law; any other paid leave required by Federal, State, or local law; and Holiday pay upon meeting eligibility criteria
Pay Details: $22.00 to $25.00 per hour
