LHH is seeking a detail-oriented and organized HR Assistant to support day-to-day human resources operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys supporting both employees and leadership across onboarding, compliance, and administrative HR functions.
Key Responsibilities - Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including new hire paperwork, background checks, and orientation coordination
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws
- Assist with HRIS data entry (new hires, terminations, status changes)
- Monitor timecards, PTO, and overtime approvals; follow up with employees and supervisors as needed
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and candidates
- Track completion of training programs, onboarding checklists, and performance reviews
- Support benefits administration and respond to employee questions
- Maintain HR documentation and filing systems (electronic and physical)
- Provide general administrative support to the HR team and assist with special projects
Qualifications - 1+ years of HR, administrative, or office support experience
- Experience with HRIS systems (Paylocity or similar preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Preferred - Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
- Experience in a manufacturing or fast-paced environment
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
Pay/Benefits: - Pay: $22/hr - $25/hr

Our program provides employees the flexibility to choose the type of coverage that meets their individual needs.
