About the Role

LHH is seeking a detail-oriented HRIS Compensation Configuration Analyst to join our clients' Human Resources team. This role is responsible for the configuration, administration, and optimization of compensation programs within the organization's Human Resources Information System (HRIS). The ideal candidate will have strong HR systems expertise and experience supporting compensation structures, salary planning, bonus programs, and system configurations while ensuring data integrity and compliance. This position partners closely with HR, Compensation, Payroll, Finance, and IT teams to support annual compensation processes, system enhancements, reporting, and employee data management. This role is 100% remote with hours being 9am - 5pm cst. Key Responsibilities
  • Configure, maintain, and optimize compensation modules within the HRIS platform.
  • Support annual merit, bonus, and compensation planning cycles through system configuration and testing.
  • Maintain salary structures, compensation grades, pay ranges, eligibility rules, and incentive plans within the system.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of employee compensation data.
  • Configure workflows, approval processes, security roles, and business rules related to compensation activities.
  • Analyze system requirements and recommend enhancements to improve compensation administration processes.
  • Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and validation of HRIS compensation functionality.
  • Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics related to compensation programs and workforce planning.
  • Partner with Compensation, Payroll, HR, and Finance teams to ensure alignment across compensation processes.
  • Support audits, compliance reporting, and regulatory requirements related to compensation data.
  • Document configurations, procedures, and system changes.
  • Assist with HRIS upgrades, implementations, integrations, and special projects.
Qualifications Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
  • 3+ years of HRIS experience with compensation configuration and administration responsibilities.
  • Experience configuring compensation modules within platforms such as Workday, UKG, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, ADP, Dayforce, or similar HRIS systems.
  • Strong understanding of compensation programs, salary structures, pay grades, merit planning, and bonus administration.
  • Advanced Excel skills include pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data analysis.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data management skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Preferred
  • Experience supporting compensation review cycles and annual merit planning.
  • Knowledge of HR, payroll, and compensation-related compliance requirements.
  • HRIS certifications or compensation-related certifications are a plus.
  • Experience with HRIS implementation, upgrades, or integrations.
Pay/Benefits
  • $45/hr - $58/hr depending on experience
