About the Role

Talent Acquisition Specialist - Oil & Gas
Location: Houston, TX 77056
Reports To: Human Resources Manager
Pay Rate: $70,000 - $95,000 annually
Position Summary
We are seeking a driven and relationship-focused Talent Acquisition Specialist to support hiring efforts across a growing Oil & Gas organization in the Galleria area. This role will partner closely with business leaders to attract top talent across field operations, engineering, technical, HSE, project management, and corporate functions. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, understands the importance of building strong talent pipelines, and enjoys making a direct impact on business growth through strategic recruiting.
Talent Acquisition
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from sourcing and screening through offer negotiation and onboarding.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and develop targeted recruiting strategies.
  • Source and attract candidates for technical, engineering, operations, and corporate positions within the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines through networking, referrals, job boards, LinkedIn, and industry events.
  • Coordinate interviews, manage candidate communications, and ensure a seamless hiring experience.
Business Partnership
  • Track recruiting metrics, market trends, and talent availability to support hiring decisions.
  • Promote the company's employer brand and represent the organization at industry recruiting events and career fairs.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and recruiting best practices.
Relationship Management
  • Build strong partnerships with hiring managers, business leaders, and external recruiting resources.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor throughout the hiring process, providing market insights and talent recommendations.
  • Maintain regular communication with candidates and stakeholders to ensure an exceptional experience.
Qualifications Required
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent professional recruiting experience.
  • 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably within Oil & Gas, Energy, Engineering, or Industrial environments.
  • Experience recruiting for technical, engineering, operations, or corporate positions.
  • Strong sourcing skills utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, networking, and direct outreach.
  • Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple requisitions and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred
  • Experience supporting upstream, midstream, downstream, or energy services organizations.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific roles including engineers, project managers, field personnel, and HSE professionals.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
Pay Details: $70,000.00 to $95,000.00 per year
