LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with an established retail company on a Senior Accountant opportunity. This hybrid role will begin as a 3+ month consulting engagement, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. We are searching for someone with strong general accounting/month-end experience and strong Excel/reporting skills. Please see additional details below and apply today for immediate consideration!
Responsibilities:- Manage month-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, account reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Prepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliations, prepaid schedules, amortization entries, and fixed asset accounting
- Review financial activity for accuracy, research discrepancies, and ensure reporting deadlines are met
- Perform variance analysis and partner with FP&A and other departments to review actual results against budget
- Support quarterly and annual financial reporting and prepare schedules and documentation for external audits
- Assist with ad hoc accounting projects, process improvements, and additional month-end responsibilities
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 4+ years of accounting experience
- Previous experience with SAP or a similar ERP system
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookups; financial modeling a plus)
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Schedule:- 4 days per week in office, 1 day remote
- Typical schedule is 9:00 AM-6:00 PM, with occasional overtime as needed
$40-55/hr
Pay Details: $40.00 to $55.00 per hour
