About the Opportunity
Our client is seeking a hands-on Senior Staff Accountant to join a collaborative accounting team in a hybrid work environment. This position offers broad exposure across the accounting function and is ideal for someone who enjoys owning processes, working independently, and contributing in a true full-cycle accounting role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage month-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting support
  • Maintain and account for fixed assets, including additions, disposals, and depreciation
  • Review and support accounts payable processes to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Perform account reconciliations and investigate variances
  • Assist with financial analysis, including flux and variance reporting
  • Support continuous process improvements within the accounting function
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on accounting and reporting initiatives
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure adherence to internal controls
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
  • 4+ years of progressive accounting experience
  • Strong understanding of full-cycle accounting processes
  • Experience managing month-end close independently
  • Hands-on experience with fixed assets accounting
  • Ability to support and review accounts payable activities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Experience in a small to mid-sized company environment preferred
  • ERP system experience required; advanced Excel skills strongly preferred
  • Prior variance or flux analysis experience is a plus

Compensation & Benefits
  • Salary range: $85,000 - $95,000 annually, depending on experience
