Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of customer accounts and perform collection activities on past-due balances.
• Contact customers by phone and email to secure payment and resolve outstanding invoices.
• Research and resolve billing discrepancies, payment issues, and account disputes.
• Maintain accurate account records and collection notes.
• Reconcile customer accounts and review aging reports.
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve customer concerns and improve payment timelines.
• Monitor collection trends and recommend process improvements.
• Assist with month-end reporting and cash application activities as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous collections, accounts receivable, or credit and collections experience required.
• Strong Microsoft Excel and computer skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple accounts and meet deadlines.
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle difficult conversations professionally.
• Experience working in a high-volume environment preferred.
