Inventory Analyst to optimize inventory accuracy, analyze inventory trends, and support inventory control initiatives across a fast-paced operation.
This role combines hands-on inventory management with advanced data analysis to ensure accurate stock levels, improve inventory performance, and support operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze inventory, demand, and transaction data to identify trends, discrepancies, and improvement opportunities
- Conduct inventory audits, cycle counts, and reconciliation activities to maintain inventory accuracy
- Monitor inventory levels, turnover, and stock movements to prevent shortages and excess inventory
- Develop reports and dashboards for inventory performance, accuracy, and obsolescence metrics
- Investigate inventory variances and identify root causes
- Support inventory optimization initiatives using ABC classification methodologies
- Partner with operations, logistics, and supply chain teams to improve inventory processes and controls
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 4+ years of inventory control, logistics, supply chain, or manufacturing experience
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, and data analysis
- Experience with ERP or inventory management systems such as SAP, Oracle, Epicor, or NetSuite
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting capabilities
- Experience maintaining inventory accuracy and managing inventory records in a manufacturing environment
