About the Role

Corporate Events Coordinator

Kansas City, MO | Fully Onsite

Full-Time | Direct Hire| up to $75K + bonus

Are you an organized professional who thrives on planning events, coordinating travel, and managing multiple moving pieces at once? LHH is partnering with a well-established Kansas City company who is seeking a detail-oriented and relationship-focused Corporate Events Coordinator to support executive leadership while leading the planning and execution of high-visibility meetings, conferences, retreats, and corporate events.

This role offers a unique blend of event management, travel coordination, and executive support responsibilities, making it an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys both logistics and relationship-building.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Event Planning & Coordination:
  • Plan and execute large-scale conferences, meetings, retreats, and company events
  • Coordinate venues, hotel contracts, room blocks, transportation, and event logistics
  • Manage event timelines, budgets, invoices, deposits, and vendor relationships
  • Organize activities, entertainment, dining experiences, and attendee communications
  • Coordinate travel arrangements for employees, leadership, and event participants
  • Conduct venue research and assist with site evaluations when needed
  • Oversee event registration, attendee tracking, and post-event follow-up
Travel Coordination:
  • Manage domestic travel arrangements including air, hotel, and ground transportation
  • Coordinate executive and employee travel logistics
  • Troubleshoot travel-related issues and ensure seamless experiences for travelers
Administrative Support:
  • Provide administrative and scheduling support to executive leadership
  • Manage calendars, meetings, and travel itineraries
  • Assist with expense reporting and related documentation
  • Support special projects and process improvement initiatives
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in one or more of the following:
  • Event Planning
  • Corporate Meetings & Conferences
  • Travel Coordination
  • Executive or Administrative Support
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • Convention, hospitality, or corporate events experience
  • Experience negotiating hotel or vendor contracts
  • Large-scale event planning experience
  • Experience coordinating travel logistics for groups or executives
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Pay Details: $70,000.00 to $75,000.00 per year
