About the Role

LHH is assisting a client in their search for a Billing Manager to lead a team of six billing professionals in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This role is responsible for overseeing billing operations, driving process improvements, ensuring accuracy and efficiency, and providing leadership and development to the billing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background managing billing or accounts receivable teams and experience working within a shared services environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 6 individual contributors.
  • Oversee daily billing operations to ensure timely and accurate invoicing.
  • Monitor workflow, productivity, and team performance to meet departmental goals.
  • Partner with Accounts Receivable, Finance, and Operations teams to resolve billing discrepancies and improve processes.
  • Establish and maintain billing policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Review and analyze billing metrics, identifying opportunities for efficiency and process improvement.
  • Manage escalated customer billing concerns and ensure prompt resolution.
  • Support month-end close activities related to billing and revenue processes.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of leadership experience managing billing, accounts receivable, or revenue cycle teams.
  • Proven experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
  • Strong background in Accounts Receivable management required.
  • Experience working in a shared services environment is highly preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/accounting systems.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
Pay Details: $100,000.00 to $110,000.00 per year
