A leading client is seeking a
Product Manager to oversee its chemical product portfolio, supplier relationships, product data, and technical support initiatives.
The ideal candidate combines a
scientific or technical background with strong product, vendor, project management, and analytical capabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the product portfolio and supplier network, including chemical costs, pricing, specifications, technical documentation, product availability, and ongoing vendor relationships.
- Support sales and business growth by providing field teams with current product information, technical resources, application knowledge, and guidance on emerging technologies and solutions.
- Lead product-related compliance and operational initiatives, including certifications, registrations, supply-chain coordination, product literature, field-testing equipment, and special projects.
- Drive product strategy and innovation by monitoring industry developments, evaluating new technologies and applications, supporting analytical testing, and identifying opportunities to strengthen the company's competitive position.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent technical experience.
- 2+ years of experience in water treatment, industrial chemicals, laboratory services, or another scientific/technical environment.
- Strong product, project, process, analytical, and computer skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and consistently meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with sales teams, suppliers, vendors, technical personnel, and other stakeholders.
