Contract Property Manager / Leasing Manager
Portland Metro Area, OR
$26.00 - $30.00 per hour

LHH Recruitment Solutions is proactively recruiting Property Managers and Leasing Managers for upcoming contract and contract-to-hire opportunities with property management organizations across the Portland metro area.
These positions are ideal for professionals who thrive in fast-paced environments and have experience supporting residential communities, leasing operations, tenant relations, and property administration.
Responsibilities
  • Manage daily operations of residential and multifamily properties
  • Conduct property tours and guide prospective residents through the leasing process
  • Process applications, lease agreements, renewals, and move-in documentation
  • Respond to resident inquiries and resolve concerns professionally and efficiently
  • Coordinate maintenance requests and communicate with vendors and contractors
  • Support rent collection efforts and maintain accurate resident records
  • Monitor occupancy and assist with resident retention initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and company policies
  • Maintain property management software and prepare routine reports
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of property management, community management, or leasing experience
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing guidelines and landlord-tenant regulations
  • Strong customer service and conflict-resolution skills
  • Experience handling lease agreements, resident relations, and occupancy management
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and property management systems
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Yardi, AppFolio, RealPage, MRI, Entrata, or similar software
  • Multifamily housing experience
  • Experience supporting multiple properties or large communities
  • Ability to start assignments quickly
