Product Analyst II - Data and Digital
Employment Type: 6-month contract
Work Arrangement: Remote candidates considered; candidates local to the Los Angeles area are highly preferred.
We are seeking a Product Analyst II to support the design, implementation, and ongoing management of digital and data products in a healthcare environment. This role partners with clinical, business, research, and IT stakeholders to translate business needs into requirements, user stories, workflows, and solutions that improve the experiences of patients, families, and staff.
The ideal candidate combines strong business analysis and communication skills with experience in Cerner (Oracle Health) and hands-on development using Tableau and Power BI.
Responsibilities
- Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements, document business needs, develop user stories, and define the value of proposed solutions.
- Create workflow diagrams and translate requirements into application builds and enhancements.
- Develop dashboards and visualizations using Tableau and Power BI.
- Generate standard and ad hoc reports and help design custom reporting solutions.
- Conduct market research, evaluate technical solutions, and contribute to product roadmap development.
- Identify opportunities to improve clinical and business workflows through digital tools, data, and process changes.
- Support the design, coding, and modification of websites, applications, and forms with an emphasis on usability and clear navigation.
- Complete moderately complex assignments involving limited programming or integration work.
- Lead assigned work efforts, coordinate priorities, and manage deliverables against timelines and budgets.
- Respond to user questions, troubleshoot service issues, and collaborate with internal teams and vendors.
- Support system rollouts, end-user training, and onboarding of staff to applicable applications.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- At least two years of product analysis or business analysis experience.
- Experience working in a Cerner (Oracle Health) environment.
- Hands-on development experience with both Tableau and Power BI.
- Strong, clear, and professional communication skills in meetings and stakeholder interactions.
- Experience gathering user requirements and developing workflow diagrams that support application builds.
- Experience evaluating and recommending technical solutions, including conducting market research.
- Ability to build relationships with enterprise stakeholders and support data-driven decision-making.
- Experience with Agile project management methodologies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced, complex environment with evolving requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Healthcare information systems experience.
- Experience partnering with clinical, business, or research leaders on digital and data initiatives.
- Residence in the Los Angeles area.

Pay Details: $56.00 to $64.00 per hour
