LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a growing organization near Fairfield, New Jersey, to identify a Senior Human Resources Generalist for their team. This position is ideal for an experienced HR professional who enjoys being a hands-on business partner and serving as a trusted resource for employees and leadership.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree and at least five years of progressive Human Resources experience. This role is responsible for supporting employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, compliance, employee engagement initiatives, and day-to-day HR operations. The organization is seeking an individual with strong critical thinking skills, sound judgment, and the ability to work independently with minimal oversight while effectively collaborating across departments.

Key Responsibilities:· Serve as a primary HR resource for employees and managers regarding policies, procedures, and workplace matters.
· Manage employee relations concerns, including investigations, documentation, conflict resolution, and corrective action support.
· Coordinate onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration, leave processes, and employee records.
· Partner with leaders on performance management, workforce planning, retention, and employee engagement initiatives.
· Maintain accurate HRIS data and prepare reports that identify workforce trends and support business decisions.
· Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and help update HR policies and practices.
Requirements:· Five or more years of progressive human resources experience, including broad HR generalist responsibilities.
· Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
· Working knowledge of employee relations, benefits, leave administration, performance management, and employment law.
· Experience conducting workplace investigations and coaching managers through employee issues.
· Proficiency with an HRIS such as ADP, UKG, Workday, Paylocity, or a comparable system.
Compensation & Work Environment:- Salary Range $90,000 to $105,000 depending on experience and qualifications.
