About the Role

Work Type: Full Time, Onsite, Contract to Hire Compensation: 24-25/hr Location: Palm Beach, FL Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and support board and committee meetings, including scheduling, agendas, materials, Zoom setup, and meeting logistics.
  • Attend board meetings and accurately prepare detailed meeting minutes and follow-up documentation.
  • Draft professional correspondence, reports, and communications for churches, schools, pastors, leadership, and other stakeholders.
  • Process and scan donation and contribution checks for deposit and maintain supporting documentation.
  • Maintain organized and confidential records for trusts, estates, investments, brokerage accounts, and donor contributions.
  • Support Finance Department recordkeeping, internal controls, and documentation procedures.
  • Maintain accurate paper and electronic filing systems and ensure timely retrieval of documents.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Finance Department, including special projects, department events, and employee activities.
  • Coordinate multiple priorities while handling sensitive financial, donor, and organizational information.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of administrative support experience.
  • Previous experience taking formal board or committee meeting minutes strongly preferred.
  • Excellent written communication, grammar, proofreading, and documentation skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to listen to complex discussions and identify key information that should be captured in meeting minutes.
  • Comfortable working with basic financial and accounting terminology; specialized finance experience is not required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and learn new processes quickly.
  • Strong professional communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with leadership, board members, and staff.
  • High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential financial, legal, and donor information.
  • Experience supporting boards, executives, finance departments, nonprofits, or similar professional environments is preferred
Pay Details: $24.00 to $25.00 per hour
