Inside Sales Specialist
Location: Portland, OR Metro (Onsite)
Compensation: $60,000 - $70,000 base salary + bonus
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Hours: M-F, 8am-5pm

About the Role

LHH Recruitment is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Inside Sales Specialist's to join our tenured client's team in NE Portland. This role is ideal for someone with experience in a technical and/or industrial manufacturing environment who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused sales setting. You will play a key role in supporting sales growth by managing inbound inquiries, developing client relationships, and coordinating closely with internal teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage inbound sales inquiries and assist Outside Sales team with generatation of new business opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers across industrial and manufacturing sectors
  • Prepare and deliver quotes, proposals, and product recommendations based on customer needs
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and production teams to ensure accurate order fulfillment
  • Maintain CRM records, track sales activity, and provide pipeline updates
  • Follow up on leads, manage sales cycles, and close business to meet or exceed targets
  • Provide technical product support and troubleshoot customer questions
  • Stay informed on product offerings, market trends, and competitive landscape
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of experience in lieu of a degree
  • 2+ years of inside sales or related experience, preferably within a technical, industrial, or manufacturing environment
  • Ability to understand and communicate technical product information
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working with CRM systems and Microsoft Office
  • Proven ability to multitask and manage priorities in a deadline-driven environment
Pay Details: $60,000.00 to $70,000.00 per year
