LHH is recruiting on behalf of a confidential, established California law firm seeking an
IP Docketing Specialist to support a busy intellectual property practice. This role focuses on trademark and copyright docketing for domestic and international matters. Candidates may work from one of several California offices or remotely.
Responsibilities- Maintain and manage trademark and copyright dockets, calendars, and filing deadlines.
- Track U.S. and international trademark prosecution matters, renewals, office actions, oppositions, and related filings.
- Generate docket reports and follow up with attorneys and legal staff regarding upcoming deadlines.
- Review correspondence and filings for docketing action items.
- Support compliance with firm docketing procedures and assist with special projects.
- Utilize IP docketing software, including WebTMS, to manage deadlines and records.
Qualifications- 3+ years of intellectual property docketing experience, with a strong emphasis on trademark docketing.
- Knowledge of U.S. and international trademark prosecution procedures.
- Experience working with USPTO, TTAB, and related trademark databases and filing systems.
- WebTMS experience strongly preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to independently manage high-volume deadlines.
- Stable employment history preferred.
