LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join a reputable law firm in Jacksonville. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated legal professional who enjoys managing complex litigation matters and playing a key role in case strategy and trial preparation.
Responsibilities- Support attorneys throughout all phases of litigation, from case inception through trial
- Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, notices, and discovery documents
- Manage case calendars and monitor litigation deadlines
- Coordinate depositions, mediations, hearings, and expert witness scheduling
- Analyze, organize, and summarize medical records, chronologies, claim files, and discovery materials
- Prepare trial exhibits, witness files, and pre-trial materials
- Conduct legal research and assist with fact investigations
- Maintain regular communication with clients, insurance adjusters, experts, opposing counsel, and court personnel
Qualifications- 3-5 years of litigation paralegal experience required
- Insurance defense experience is required
- Strong knowledge of Florida state court procedures and e-filing
- Experience handling discovery, document management, and trial preparation
- Ability to manage a high-volume caseload while maintaining exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management platforms
