LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a respected law firm in the Tampa area to identify an experienced Trusts & Estates Paralegal. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented legal professional who enjoys working closely with attorneys, clients, and financial professionals on sophisticated estate planning and probate matters.
Responsibilities- Draft estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, healthcare directives, and related documents
- Assist attorneys with probate and trust administration matters from inception through closing
- Prepare and file probate pleadings and court documents
- Coordinate asset collection, valuations, and transfers
- Communicate with clients, beneficiaries, financial institutions, accountants, and other third parties
- Review and organize financial records, trust documents, and estate inventories
- Prepare accountings, inventories, and supporting probate documentation
- Maintain case files and track important deadlines to ensure timely matter progression
Qualifications- 3+ years of Trusts & Estates, Probate, or Estate Planning Paralegal experience
- Strong knowledge of probate administration and estate planning processes
- Experience drafting estate planning and probate documents
- Excellent organizational, communication, and client service skills
- Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines simultaneously
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software
- Paralegal certificate preferred but not required
