Position

Radiologic Technology Program at Lasell University is seeking an Adjunct Professor for the associate degree program offered through the office of workforce development.

Course: RAD 105: Radiographic Procedures I (course description provided upon request)

Date/Time: Fall Semester, September 2, 2026 – December 16, 2026

Location: Remote/On-line delivery

RAD 105: Radiographic Procedures I - Radiographic Procedures I Asynchronous Online - 3 credit hours

Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Collaborate with the Program Director on the design and delivery of course content and program curricula in accordance with accreditation standards.
  • Provide asynchronous weekly instruction for all course content.
  • Daily use of the Learning Management System, Canvas, to post all required course materials, syllabus, and course outline.
  • Provide and posts an up-to-date course syllabus and schedule for students that clearly communicates course objectives and student learning outcomes as well as expectations.
  • Align instructional methodology and assessment measures/assignments with accreditation standards, course's goal and objectives, students learning outcomes, and program goals and outcomes.
  • Maintain virtual office hours each week and timely communications (24-48 hours) with students via email and phone.
  • Keep and post accurate records of student progress (grades) and adhere to all academic requirements and deadlines set by the University registrar.
  • Delivery of asynchronous, didactic, curriculum in an active and engaging manner in a virtual classroom setting.
  • Provide positive, constructive feedback to students and follow-up feedback in writing frequently and consistently throughout the semester.
  • Provide instruction for Radiographic Procedures I, content will include an understanding of projection vs. position terminology, body landmarks, and the essential imaging projections and subsequent patient positioning for the chest, abdomen, shoulder girdle, and upper and lower extremities.
  • Responsible for delivering course content that teaches the skills necessary to prepare students for their clinical rotations.
  • Responsible for delivering course content to prepare students for Radiographic Procedures portions of the ARRT registry examination.
  • Provide positive, constructive feedback to students and follow-up feedback in writing.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Holds current American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) certification and registration in radiography
  • A minimum total of two years of clinical experience, either as a radiologic technologist or as an instructor in radiologic technology, or a combination of both
  • Teaching experience
