About the Role

Title: Seasonal Part Time Crew Mate (Seasonal Part Time Sales Associate) Department: Retail Reports To: Captain (Store Manager)/First Mate (Assistant Manager)/Second Mate (Management Trainee) Overview: Responsible for assisting the management team (Captain, First Mates, and Second Mates) in driving sales through exceptional customer service.Ensures the customer experience, supports our brand promise (“Every Day Should Feel This Good”) and makes service a top priority.

Functions & Responsibilities: --Generate Sales -Responsible for meeting their goals/measures -Develops and maintains relationships with top customers -Supports in-store event sourcing and execution --Customer Experience -Ensures the store reflects Shep & Ian's vision of “Every Day Should Feel This Good” to our customers through “Hosting the Party” -Leads the store in email capture and educating new associates on best practices -Ensures the customer wish list is always current with customers being notified when product arrives. --Crew Development -Assists with training new associates -Helps foster a welcoming, fun, encouraging and energetic crew and customer environment -Helps in recruiting and referring top talent for the store's teams -Supports store and team-building activities with the management team --Operations -Maintains efficient merchandise controls -Maintains loss prevention awareness at all times -Helps maintain a clean and tidy store environment --Merchandising -Helps to maintain merchandising as it pertains to company standards, current compass (floorset), and brand initiatives -Contributes to weekly product feedback Requirements: -Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills -Team focused, confident, and professional -Creative, adaptable, entrepreneurial and driven by integrity -Strong verbal and written skills -Ability to perform effective selling techniques to achieve sale and repeat business -Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays, overnights, weekends -A passion for making people happy -Excited to help recruit, train, motivate, and inspire as a large piece of your day-to-day responsibilities -Accuracy and attention to detail. -Ability to effectively receive and communicate feedback -Positive outlook -Excited to get to know our product inside and out in order to offer style advice and help customers -Outgoing, friendly & personable with a positive attitude -Customer Service-oriented experience preferred but not necessary -Passion for the vineyard vines brand As an employee at a vineyard vines retail location, all team members must have the ability to:

  • Stand and/or move around for extended periods of time
  • Reach, carry, bend, and climb ladders occasionally
  • Lift up to 40 pounds, unless an accommodation is requested

Salary Range: $17.65- $18.61per hour
