Accountant
Please note that this job is HYBRID. You will be required to work onsite on Tuesdays and Thursdays. You may work from home on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a leading international company to fill their open Accountant job based in Centennial, CO. To qualify, you must have at least 4 years of recent, relevant experience in a similar role. Candidates with a Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field are preferred. Fluency in French is also preferred.
This is a DIRECT HIRE job opportunity where you will earn a base salary between $70,000 and $80,000 annually. You will also be eligible for this company's competitive benefits package (details below).
Responsibilities:
-Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable
-Reconciling balance sheets and accounts
-Researching and resolving transaction discrepancies
-Assisting with processing US and Canadian sales tax
-Working with vendors and customers in the US and Canada
-Designing and implementing new standard operating procedures to increase departmental efficiency
-Assisting with budgeting, financial reporting, and running ad hoc financial analyses
-Assisting with month-end close processes
-Creating journal entries
-Supervising and coaching junior accounting staff
Qualifications:
-At least 4 years of recent, relevant experience in a similar role
-Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
-Fluency in French preferred
-Excellent analytical skills
-Excellent attention to detail
-Excellent organizational skills
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Compensation:
-Annual base salary between $70,000 and $80,000
-Medical, dental, and vision insurance
-Eligibility for a performance-based bonus
-2 weeks of PTO
