Position OverviewWe are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant for a contract opportunity at our Overland Park, Kansas location. This role will provide administrative support to leadership and various departments while helping ensure the smooth and efficient operation of daily office activities.
The ideal candidate is proactive, dependable, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities- Answer and direct incoming phone calls, emails, and visitor inquiries
- Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments
- Prepare reports, presentations, correspondence, and other business documents
- Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records
- Assist with office operations, including ordering supplies and coordinating vendor services
- Support invoice processing, purchase orders, and other administrative functions
- Coordinate company meetings, events, and travel arrangements as needed
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure effective communication and workflow
- Complete additional administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications- Previous experience in an Administrative Assistant, Office Assistant, or similar administrative role preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Professional demeanor and customer service mindset
- High school diploma or equivalent required
