Manages a team that develops and implements procurement plans and strategies to meet forecasted needs for commodities, ensuring optimal pricing and terms. Coordinates with internal teams to establish negotiation strategies for commodity purchase agreements, leveraging market expertise to secure the best deals. Manages the purchasing process in accordance with established policies, using sound trade judgment to implement approved buying programs.
Complies with all policies and standards Manages staff performance and development, coaching team members to achieve their full potential in contributing to the department's goals.
Minimum Education Level: Bachelor's Degree Years of Experience: 5-7 Years Field of Expertise: Procurement experience in manufacturing or distribution environment Preferred Education & Experience Specialized Degree: Supply Chain Management/Business Administration Licenses/Certificates: Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM)) Years of Experience: 8-11 Years Field of Expertise: Procurement in manufacturing or distribution environment
