Business Development / Sales Executive – Custom Home Builder Division

Roof Authority is looking for an experienced, relationship-driven sales professional to help grow our presence with custom home builders, architects, and luxury residential construction partners throughout Greater Atlanta.

This is not a door-to-door roofing sales position and it is not an insurance-claims sales role.You do not need to be a roofing expert.

We're looking for someone who already understands the Atlanta construction community and knows how to develop long-term relationships with builders, architects, designers, contractors, and other professionals involved in high-end residential projects.

If you've built strong relationships selling or working within windows, doors, millwork, building materials, exterior products, gutters, specialty construction, distribution, custom homes, or a related industry, we'd like to hear from you.

We'll teach you the roofing systems. We're looking for someone who already knows how to build relationships.

What You'll Do

You'll help expand Roof Authority's custom-home and architectural business by developing relationships, identifying upcoming projects, and becoming a trusted resource for builders and design professionals.

• Build and grow relationships with custom home builders, architects, contractors, and other industry partners throughout Greater Atlanta
• Leverage your existing network to identify new projects and partnership opportunities
• Develop new relationships through networking, referrals, associations, events, and targeted outreach
• Work with builders and architects to understand plans, project requirements, schedules, and material needs
• Collaborate with our estimating and operations teams to develop proposals for high-value residential projects
• Learn Roof Authority's premium roofing systems and help clients select appropriate solutions for their projects
• Maintain an organized pipeline of active opportunities and future projects
• Attend relevant builder, architect, and industry events
• Spend time in the field when necessary to understand projects and support clients
• Work toward a goal of developing approximately five qualified bid opportunities per week

Who We're Looking For

The strongest candidates will have experience selling to, working with, or developing business through the custom residential construction community. You may come from roofing — but you don't have to.

Relevant backgrounds could include:

• Windows and doors
• Millwork
• Building materials
• Exterior building products
• Gutters or siding
• Specialty construction
• Construction distribution
• Custom home building
• Architectural products
• Project management with strong builder relationships
• Other B2B construction-related sales roles

What Matters Most

We're particularly interested in candidates who:

• Have existing relationships with custom home builders, architects, or luxury residential contractors in the Greater Atlanta market
• Understand relationship-based B2B selling
• Have experience with high-value or technically complex products and projects
• Are comfortable discussing construction plans, specifications, schedules, and project requirements — or have the aptitude to learn
• Can develop business independently rather than relying exclusively on inbound leads
• Are comfortable visiting projects and working directly with builders and construction professionals
• Communicate professionally with both technical and executive-level stakeholders
• Have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Direct roofing experience is a plus, but it is not required.

Compensation

• $50,000–$70,000 base salary
• 10% commission
• $150,000–$180,000+ target total compensation
• $950/month vehicle and phone allowance
