Physics Experts (PhD or Master's), Are You There?

Athyna is building Latin America's largest network of Physics PhDs and Master's researchers to work directly on frontier AI post-training with leading AI labs and Fortune 500 companies.

You'll design evaluation frameworks, stress-test model performance, conduct red-teaming exercises, and help refine AI systems for real-world deployment. Projects range from targeted evaluations to ongoing model improvement work, with flexible engagement options: full-time, part-time, or project-based—depending on client needs and your availability.

This is hands-on research work that directly shapes how advanced AI systems perform in production.

In Your Day-To-Day, You Will

• Create and review advanced physics problems that test AI reasoning depth.
• Evaluate AI-generated solutions for correctness, rigor, and clarity.
• Identify logical gaps, incorrect assumptions, or incomplete derivations.
• Produce clear, well-reasoned reference solutions when needed.
• Maintain high standards of scientific accuracy and problem difficulty.

Skills You Have

• PhD or Master's degree in Physics or a closely related field.
• Deep understanding of theoretical and/or experimental physics.
• Strong ability to reason quantitatively and analytically.
• Experience explaining complex physical concepts in writing.

Skills That Will Make You Stand Out

• Experience with Olympiad-style or research-level problem solving.
• Familiarity with AI evaluation or scientific benchmarking.
• Proficiency with LaTeX or structured mathematical writing.
• Experience applying physics expertise to AI or computational systems.
