Business Services & Consulting

About the Role

VP of Mature Markets

Location: London, Paris, Amsterdam, Berlin, Europe (Remote)

Job Title: Director

Department: Sales, Marketing & Product Management

Travel Required: 31%-60%

An amazing career opportunity for a VP of Mature Markets!! This role involves accelerating regionally relevant sales revenue and expanding trusted identity products, services, and technology partnerships across the Mature Markets Business Unit, covering Europe, North Asia, and ANZ. The business unit is undergoing rapid transformation, with a strong emphasis on enhancing the physical and seamless access experiences of our partners and customers.

Success in this role demands an innovative mindset: one that can define market approaches, optimize product mix, and establish the right commercial footprint. A key success factor will be your ability to coach and develop multi-disciplinary teams; spanning sales, pre-sales, technical, product marketing, and marketing communications, to drive strategic growth investments across their territories. You will also work closely with customer services and operations to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term retention.

You are entrepreneurial and commercially astute, capable of balancing "Expand and Accelerate" strategies in underdeveloped regions with "Protect and Grow" initiatives in established markets. Leveraging the strengths of your sales organization, you will serve customers through multiple channels, direct sales, inside sales, channel partners, and key accounts. Reporting to the SVP and Head of Physical Access Control (PACS) and serving as a member of the PACS Leadership Team, this role offers full P&L responsibility within our Commercial Business Unit structure.

HID powers the trusted identities of the world's people, places, and things, allowing people to transact safely, work productively and travel freely. We are a high-tech software company headquartered in Austin, TX, with over 4,500 worldwide employees.

Essential Duties:

  • Define and communicate the vision, mission, and strategic direction for the Mature Markets organization.
  • Deliver a profitable P&L by achieving top-and bottom-line growth across all Mature Market territories.
  • Build, lead, and coach high-performing commercial and operational teams.
  • Collaborate with PACS Leadership and department heads to execute regional growth plans.
  • Analyze competitive landscapes, identify market expansion opportunities, and engage in high-level negotiations to secure strategic partnerships and contracts.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade associations, and professional forums.
  • Act as the regional spokesperson in internal and external business meetings, reporting on people, financials, KPIs, forecasting, strategic planning, and acquisition integration.

What We Love About Your Background:

  • Proven ability to lead transformational programs that drive exponential growth.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
  • Analytical mindset with sound judgment and decision-making capabilities.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage complexity and ambiguity.
  • Skilled in diplomacy and conflict resolution.
  • Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams across multiple geographies.
  • Willingness and ability to travel both domestically and internationally.

Your Experience and Education Include:

  • Hold a BA or BS in related field. MBA is preferred.
  • At least 10+ years related experience including management experience of large teams.
  • Experience in running a full P&L with demonstrable experience driving top and bottom line objectives.
  • Understanding of market and competitive environment including deal activity and potential opportunities.
  • Solid leadership and management experience, including strategic thinking, innovation, coaching and mentoring, scaling and collaboration.

What We Can Offer You:

  • Competitive salary and rewards package.
  • Competitive benefits and annual leave offering, allowing for work-life balance.
  • A vibrant, welcoming & inclusive culture.
  • Extensive career development opportunities and resources to maximize your potential.
  • To be a part of a global organization that is pioneering the hardware, software and services that allow people to confidently navigate the physical and digital worlds.

Why Apply?

  • Empowerment: You'll work as part of a global team in a flexible work environment, learning and enhancing your expertise.
  • Innovation: You embrace challenges and want to drive change.
  • Integrity: You are results-oriented, reliable, and straightforward and value being treated accordingly.
