The ideal candidate will:
• Have a commitment to Touchmark’s values (excellence, teamwork, hospitality, integrity, and compassion), as well as a desire to model these values and to encourage others to be allies, friends and givers • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent • Work experience as a housekeeper in a resort or retirement community is a significant asset • Be willing to work occasional weekends and holidays • Be able to read, write, and speak English • Be able to provide an acceptable Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector check prior to start date • Be physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs and walk and stand for the majority of shift • Possess the legal ability to work in Canada • Be able to maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, staff members and visitors Touchmark at Wedgewood is committed to a diverse, inclusive, and accessible workplace.
