NFP Corp. is seeking an experienced employment counsel to support NFP's Human Resources Department as a member of the NFP Legal team. In this role, the individual will be responsible for drafting and revising offer letters, employment agreements, and separation agreements, as well as reviewing and analyzing restrictive covenant agreements. In addition, the individual will provide advice and counsel on performance management issues, accommodations, and risk mitigation strategies. The individual will report to the Senior Vice President - Associate General Counsel, Employment.
To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Ability to effectively utilize Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Good organizational and planning skills, with a proven ability to manage time well in a fast-paced, ever-changing, team-oriented environment
Proven administrative skills and expertise
High level of integrity and strict adherence to protecting confidential information
Positive attitude and team player
Attention to detail and highly organized
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in writing and editing
Experience providing timely advice on matters pertaining to employment & labor laws
Significant experience in drafting, interpreting and advising on restrictive covenants law

The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location.Actual base salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis.In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
