Our Tyler hospital is seeking an experienced Clinical Review Tech/RN. We are looking for your experience, knowledge and patient care skills in our Medical Staff Department where you will be responsible for:
What You Will Be Doing:
- Promotes optimal quality of services by assisting with the planning, organizing and implementation of performance improvement activities of UT Health East Texas.
- Reviews cases and coordinating the collection of data, analysis of results, preparing or reports and graphs related to Inpatient and Outpatient Core Measure data required by CMS, TJC & THCICA as well as other clinical reviews required to maintain accreditation by CMS and TJC.
- Reviews in and out patient cases reported, referred from all sources or based on various medical staff approved criteria and nurse clinical practice standards.
- Demonstrates ability to maintain accurate records of findings and actions of confidential Medical Staff peer review activities.
- Coordinates preparation of reports, records, and data bases as needed.
- Provides data for accurate development of graphs, charts and tables.
- Ensures computerized data remain secure and properly archived.
- Completes in-depth case reviews and provides information on peer review forms to include computerized trending.
- Written documentation will be well written and grammatically correct.
- Assists in preparing the monthly, bi-monthly, quarterly and annual reports as assigned.
- Coordinates aggregation of data from within and outside the department.
- Attends and participates on assigned hospital performance improvement committees, teams and medical staff meetings.
- Assists with quality control report document processing as assigned.
- Coordinates preparation of reports, records and data-bases as needed by the Quality Improvement Director.
- Provides 100% accurate interpretation of clinical cases to support data abstraction and for use in preparing tables, graphs and charts.
