LHH is looking to fill a Direct Hire Controller Job in San Diego, CA. Qualified candidates will have minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience and advanced Microsoft Excel skills. The Controller will report directly to the CFO. This is an opportunity paying between $120,000 to $145,000 annually, plus potential bonus.
Responsibilities of Controller:
· Preparation of monthly Profit and Loss statements and cost accounting reports.
· Coordination, Auditing, and Reconciliation of Inventories.
· Coordinated long-term planning, forecasting, and budget management.
· Analyze revenues, costs, and earnings compared to budgets and explain variances
· Manage accounting staff and report to Upper Management
Qualifications:
· Minimum of five or more years of accounting and finance experience
· Proficient with ERP software (Peachtree / Sage is ideal)
· Strong Manufacturing industry experience
· Bachelor's degree highly preferred
· Ability to communicate in writing clearly and concisely
· Ability to get along with others and to work well in a team environment
