About the Role

Ready to make an impact? Luke's Lobster is hiring a Chief Revenue Officer in Portland, ME to unify its CPG and Wholesale businesses into a single growth engine, and build the commercial team that scales a challenger seafood brand past $100 million.

Luke's Lobster

Luke's Lobster is a Maine-born seafood company built on traceability, quality, and sustainability, sourcing directly from day boat fishermen and bringing that story to customers through restaurants, retail, and wholesale. Founded by Luke Holden and still privately held, the company has grown into a multi channel business spanning CPG, wholesale and foodservice, and restaurants, and is now investing in the leadership to bring its businesses together as one unified growth engine.

What You Will Do

The CRO will oversee the CPG and Wholesale business, owning the P&L and the full commercial agenda: sales, marketing, product portfolio, innovation, and revenue growth management. This is a builder's role for someone who can set long-term strategy and just as easily get into the details to make it happen. You will report directly to Founder and CEO Luke Holden as a member of the Executive Leadership Team.
This role is based in Portland, ME, in office at least three days a week. Relocation support is available.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute an integrated revenue strategy across retail CPG and wholesale channels, including the 3 year strategic plan and annual operating plan
  • Own sales across national and regional retail accounts, wholesale, foodservice, military, and institutional partnerships
  • Lead brand marketing and demand generation across all non restaurant channels, from positioning through media, shopper, and digital
  • Drive portfolio strategy and a faster innovation pipeline, from concept through commercialization
  • Build and unify high performing sales, marketing, and innovation teams under one commercial vision

Who You Are

You think like a General Manager, not just a marketer or sales leader, and are just as comfortable in a boardroom as you are entering a purchase order. You’ve helped scale a CPG food brand through the ambiguity of an early stage or emerging business, not only run a playbook inside an established one, and you bring the emotional intelligence to earn trust and bring a team along as you raise the bar.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of progressive commercial leadership in CPG, food and beverage, or consumer goods, with a track record owning both a sales function and a marketing or brand function
  • Experience scaling a CPG brand from early accounts through $100 million in annual sales, ideally within an emerging or entrepreneurial business
  • Experience across national retail (natural, conventional, club, and/or mass) and wholesale or foodservice channels
  • Deep fluency in retail data (Nielsen, SPINS, or Circana) and P&L management
  • Preferred: premium, natural, or sustainability focused food and beverage experience; seafood or perishables experience is a plus, not required

Benefits

  • Compensation: $230K to $300K base salary, based on experience, with additional bonus and equity opportunity
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, including a Health Savings Account option with a company contribution
  • 401(k) retirement savings plan with pre-tax and post-tax contribution options
  • Company-paid life and AD&D insurance, with voluntary supplemental coverage available
  • Paid time off, paid holidays, and paid parental leave
  • Cell phone stipend, plus a 50% employee discount on Luke's Lobster products
  • Pet insurance and wellness coverage
