About the Role

Regional Sales Director

Our client is seeking an experienced Regional Sales Director to lead national revenue growth across their genetic testing and molecular diagnostics portfolio. This executive will develop and execute commercial strategies, build and lead a high-performing sales team, expand key customer relationships, and drive market penetration within women's health, oncology, rare disease, and precision medicine.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute national sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth objectives.
  • Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing sales organization.
  • Drive new business development with physician practices, health systems, academic medical centers, laboratories, and research organizations.
  • Build strategic relationships with OB/GYN, Maternal-Fetal Medicine, Oncology, Genetics, and Laboratory Medicine stakeholders.
  • Manage forecasting, pipeline development, territory planning, and sales performance metrics.
  • Partner with Marketing, Operations, and Executive Leadership on commercial initiatives and new product launches.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of sales leadership experience within molecular diagnostics, genetic testing, laboratory services, biotechnology, or precision medicine.
  • Proven success leading regional or national sales teams and exceeding revenue goals.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare reimbursement, laboratory operations, and complex healthcare sales.
  • Experience selling to physicians, health systems, and laboratories.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%.
Preferred Experience
  • NGS, Molecular Diagnostics, Genetic Testing, NIPT, Carrier Screening, Hereditary Cancer Testing, or Women's Health.
  • Existing relationships within OB/GYN, Oncology, Genetics, or Laboratory Medicine.
