About the Role
Massachusetts Maritime Academy is seeking a qualified instructor for a non-benefitted, temporary Sea Term 2027 assignment aboard the NSMV Patriot State. You will teach cadets seamanship, shipboard safety and emergency preparedness, navigation, voyage planning, watchstanding and pollution awareness.
Work is six days a week (Sundays off) with a flexible schedule. Training runs Jan 04–Feb 25, 2027; candidates must hold Second Mate, Unlimited USCG and current STCW, and be comfortable mentoring
