LHH is partnering with a growing organization that is seeking a
Director of IT & Business Applications to lead its technology function and help shape the next phase of its technology strategy.
This is an excellent opportunity for an applications-focused IT leader who enjoys operating at both the strategic and hands-on levels. The Director will oversee business applications, enterprise systems, data and reporting, infrastructure, cybersecurity, IT operations, and end-user technology.
This is a hybrid onsite role in San Diego.What You'll Do- Lead the overall technology strategy and roadmap in partnership with executive and business leadership.
- Provide leadership across Business Applications, IT Operations, Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, Business Intelligence, and End User Services.
- Lead the selection, implementation, optimization, and ongoing improvement of enterprise applications.
- Partner with Finance and operational stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable solutions.
- Manage system enhancements, upgrades, integrations, and technical debt.
- Improve application usability, business processes, and user adoption.
- Develop stronger project intake, prioritization, and technology governance practices.
- Build and maintain a strategic technology roadmap.
- Oversee reporting, BI, data quality, and data governance.
- Provide leadership around cybersecurity standards, controls, and technology risk.
- Maintain reliable infrastructure, networks, systems, endpoints, and end-user support.
- Establish and monitor service levels and improve IT service-management practices.
- Manage key technology vendors, consultants, contracts, and service providers.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the technology team.
What We're Looking For- 8+ years of progressive IT experience with demonstrated technology leadership experience.
- Strong background in Business Applications, Business Systems, ERP, or Enterprise Applications.
- Experience leading a significant ERP, financial-system, or business-application implementation.
- Ability to operate as a player-coach, providing strategic leadership while remaining close enough to the work to help move critical initiatives forward.
- Strong understanding of financial, accounting, operational, and back-office applications.
- Experience supporting a complex, multi-entity, multi-location, portfolio-based, or similarly structured business environment.
- Broad understanding of infrastructure, cybersecurity, data/BI, IT operations, and end-user technology.
- Experience managing technology vendors and implementation partners.
- Strong business acumen and ability to connect technology decisions to business outcomes.
- Excellent communication and executive presentation skills.
Pay Details: $170,000.00 to $230,000.00 per year
